THREE POINTS OF MADNESS

Formed in **Providence, RI** in 2014, **Three Points of Madness** (often abbreviated as 3PM) is a highly respected power trio in the local New England music scene. Their style seamlessly bridges the gaps between classic heavy metal, hard rock, alternative metal, and progressive rock. Despite being only a three-piece band, they are known for delivering a massive, wall-of-sound live performance that rivals much larger outfits. While born and bred in the Providence club circuit (frequently playing staples like The Met in Pawtucket and Dusk in Providence), they are currently based and write their music just across the state border in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. ## Band Members * **George Petrus** *(Lead Vocals / Guitar)*: A founding member whose songwriting relies heavily on a massive array of vintage and modern effects pedals to create dynamic textures. His lyrical themes often dive deep into heavy personal concepts, loss, and redemption. * **Ron Pacheco** *(Bass)*: A founding member and technically brilliant bassist. Ron stands out in the modern metal scene by utilizing standard, 8, 9, 11, and massive **12-string bass guitars**. He blends elaborate finger-picking styles and two-handed tapping to fill out the band's low-end melodies. * **Sean Daudelin** *(Drums)*: Joined the band in late 2014, breaking a "revolving door" of previous drummers to solidify the permanent trio. Sean brings a heavy progressive metal influence to the rhythm section, known for his proficiency with odd time signatures. ## Studio Album Releases The band has built a prolific independent discography, releasing five full-length albums: * ***New World Order* (2017)** — Their early establishing record that introduced their blend of heavy alt-rock and metal grooves. * ***Circus of Madness* (2019)** — Continued to refine their signature heavy progressive-tinged sound. * ***American Papers* (2020)** — An album featuring standout live and streaming fan favorites like *"A Cowboy's Tears"*. * ***Reefer Madness* (2022)** — A raw and incredibly personal release, featuring the single *"Walk Away Or You'll Die,"* which directly addressed personal struggles with addiction. * ***Sea of Broken Souls* (2025)** — Their latest studio album, featuring heavy hitting tracks like *"Hell is Here,"* *"Father Time,"* and *"Johnny the Soldier"*. > **Current Project:** The band is actively writing and recording a new concept album entirely themed around the infamous, cryptid-filled, and paranormally active **Bridgewater Triangle** region where they rehearse.
