Check out CASTLE RAT

Let's take a minute to talk about castle rat. Imagine if you will 4 employees at spirit halloween decide to start a Gothic doom jam band with only early sabbath as a true influence. Then imagine this band gives their dungeon and dragonesque imagery into their show complete with a sword wielding red Sonja fighting some sort of exotic dancer like mouse demon. We've got a plague doctor on bass and a shredding ghoul guitarist. Throw in a weird viking/wizard on drums and you have castle rat. This is a soundtrack for journey through middle earth high on mushrooms. But in a world of pop fed emasculated rock this band might be the very mystical force conjured up to save rock and roll itself.
